I recently read this wonderful novel, the Friday Night Knitting Club, which was written by a new author, Kate Jacobs. Its really a wonderful novel for even a non knitter. There are a few surpising twists in the book and the best part…its based on a real knit shop in NYC!

The book will also transformed into movie form in 2008, starring famous knitter, Julia Roberts…that should help propel the knitting craze!
