I have lost count on my commitment to knit 12 sweaters in 12 months. I think this one is 7, but that is only if the “post it note” counts…
I love the fabric that the Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool made when knitted on a US#7. It is drapey and awesome. I will probably wear this sweater more than anything I have knitted in a long time. I have it on today…it is light enough for air conditioning in the summer. I am so super happy with this project, which is a great thing considering the relative failure of my last project.
The pattern is the Gathered Pullover, which is available from Interweave Knits / Knitting Daily. It is also a class being offered in August, starting Sunday, August 15 at 11 am. Much of the class will focus on reworking the pattern for shaping to match your figure and positioning the cabled gather at the appropriate place on the body.

I love this sweater! It looks great. And I think you definitely get to count the post-it sweater towards the final count. You still made it.

I will be visiting DC next week and hope to get to your store (just saw the ad pop up on Ravelry). I’m especially glad to see that you’ve made this sweater — in my favorite yarn! Silky Wool — and I just got this pattern! Nice to see how it works up in the Silky Wool. The sweater looks great!
