Thank you Sarah M. For sharing this….I do realize that this could sell me lots of yarn. It means that you all can come in and buy a hank of superchunky yarn and magically transform it into a holiday gift with little to no effort. But it still seems to be upsetting…very upsetting. Also, I wish she wasn’t wearing a nude colored bra. For directions on how to make (or not) this scarf, check out this site.

Well yes, you are. These quick projects may be “fun” (for someone??), but they miss the whole spirit of fiber arts community.

It’s kind of yarn as bondage with the black leather touch, too cartoony and as far as I can tell, completely missing their audience. It’s like someone went to the Abercrombie School of Advertising, but with the nude bra to make it less racy (?). It’s kind of an advertising-wreck, like a cake-wreck, if you are familiar. Super hot men wearing yarn and nothing else might sell something, but would still be pretty tacky.

I imagine that washing this scarf would be a bit of a pain.
