Neighborhood Fiber Co Kits are back

My love-fest for Karida Collins and her ability to make pretty yarn is widely known. I have knitted more projects with her worsted base than any other yarn (although Brooklyn Tweed is catching up). Today I arrived at the shop to find an amazing pile of color in our kitchen – hand delivered by Karida herself. She has created a new kit for the shop: the Aranami kit. Each set is 730 yards in 5 custom colors – sufficient to complete the Aranami shawl from our friend Olga Buraya-Kefelian. (The kit does not include the pattern, so be sure to download it here). Each kit is $50. The base is Rustic Fingering, a single ply machine washable merino that just soaks up color. We have the kits in the colors shown below:

Greys

Aqua

Aubergine

Periwinkle

Vermillion

Neighborhood Fiber Co Dipped Infinity Kits are also back in stock. Each kit contains 8 mini skeins of Studio Sock that you can use for a variety of patterns, including Cosmicpluto’s Dipped Infinity Scarf pattern or this free shop pattern on our blog. Each kit is $60, and we have them in warms, cools and purples.

Love the Aranami pattern, but the link appears to be broken…
