My biggest WIP yet
Since I am so fond of starting projects that are so overwhelming that I will never finish them, it is nice to know that this WIP has a definite end in sight. And really, I don’t think I will have much of a choice on when it ends either. Some of you may have noticed that I have missed lots of work this fall, seem extra tired, am widening around the waist….yup. It is getting to be rather obvious. My efforts to wear dolman style shirts and dress in over-sized sweaters will only get me so far. Phil and I are expecting a baby!
Now that the rough first trimester is gone, I am feeling great, and you should see me around the shop more. Baby (of unkown gender) is due sometime around July 1!
No, I haven’t starting knitting baby things yet. I think that the Celestarium is keeping me adequately distracted from taking on anything too crazy like a mobile. Thankfully…I can’t promise that the blog won’t be filled with baby knitting things in the spring months, and I apologize in advance.

I am actually pregnant as well, expecting our second (a girl this time) in mid-June so we’ll be in a similare boat for a while… Having already had one, all I can say is enjoy your knitting now before the little one is born. Life sure changes a lot afterwards. Very happy for you and I am glad you’re feeling better.

I’m pregnant too — due in May with a boy. So I”m racking my head for baby boy designs. I much prefer designing for girls. Will you want to find out the gender or do you prefer surprises? Congrats again!
I don’t want to know! I am trying to do this a bit more “old fashioned” but we will see how that goes. I am pretty type A…
