Holly taught herself to knit in 2004 in an attempt to occupy her hands and mind. This experiment turned into a passion for the craft and has led to a love of spinning and dabbling in crochet. Holly’s passion for all things fibery is evident in her love for teaching brand new knitters and sock enthusiasts; she can always be found with a pair of socks on the needles (along with the occasional sweater or shawl). She has designed socks for the book Pints and Purls, as well as for fibre space, and her own Ravelry shop, sheepish creations. Holly loves to research and try new techniques to help others make their sock knitting experiences easier, with better fitting socks as the result. When she’s not teaching or working, she can be found planning her next trip, or, during hockey season, cheering on the Caps.
