Handspun Holidays with Molly Miller

Saturday, December 3, 1:30-4 pm

Cost is $115 per person and includes all supplies (except needles) and a cocoa tasting.

Join us for a knitting with handspun workshop on December 3, just in time to make some crafty gifts for your loved ones at the holidays!  This gift-giving-themed workshop will focus on using unique handspun art yarns for quick and easy holiday projects.  Each student will receive three swatches of handspun to practice on in the class, plus a full skein of handspun to make a full project on your own.  The workshop will focus on ways to harness the uniqueness of handspun to make one-of-a-kind finished products, including scarves, neckwraps, cowls, wrist warmers, and hats.  How to address common traits of handspun art yarns such as foreign objects and low yardage will also be discussed.

We will enjoy a flight or trio of cocoa from ACKC!

Materials:

Please bring US#15 needles to class. All other supplies will be provided. Each student will receive 3 practice skeins and their choice of one full skein. Additional yarns will be available for purchase as well.
