A new free pattern for you all! This is light and lofty and makes a wonderful accessory for dressing up or down. It uses very little sock yarn, so grab your leftovers, pair it with a complimentary color of Loft and you have a scarf!

32″ US#4
32″ US#8
1 skein Neighborhood Fiber Company Loft
partial skein Neighborhood Fiber Company Studio Sock
Finished measurements:
80″ x 7.5″
Instructions
CO 340 stitches using Loft and larger needles and preferred cast on method. I used long tail.
Knit for 8 rows
Change to Studio sock and smaller needles and knit for 6 rows
Change to larger needles and Loft and knit for 10 rows
Repeat last two sections two times more
Work six rows with Studio sock and smaller needles
Knit 8 rows of Loft with larger needles and bind off.
Block lightly and you have a scarf!

That looks great! I have some old Studio Sock at home, so I’ll have to come in and take a look at the Loft.
