Join us on Friday night to shop the entire inventory of Miss Babs yarns, as they arrive from her car! This will be the largest selection of Babs yarns ever at fibre space. The doors will open at 7 pm and no more than 40 folks will be allowed in the shop at one time (fire code!)

Colors! All of them! Workshop: Saturday, 10 am – noon – SOLD OUT

In this workshop some of the things we will look at:

• How and why we select the colors that we do

• Think about how combinations of colors change how they appear to the eye, and how they look on us when worn

• Play with color selection for colorwork projects (Intarsia, Fair Isle, Entrelac) – Babs will bring colors to play with!

Babs Says….

Let’s be clear, I am not an academically trained colorist, so I will talk about color in a nontraditional manner. I will use some of the traditional terms, like intensity, and complements and I will ask you to stretch your color attitude beyond your normal limits in this workshop. If you want to continue to knit and wear the exact same colors you always have, this is NOT the workshop for you.

Also, if you have a troublesome skein or set of skeins (any brand) that you are not quite sure that you want to use or they just aren’t as lovely as when you bought them, bring them along so we can help you think about how best to use them or if you should dump them!
